The screen protector it comes with sucks. It doesn't fit tightly against the screen so that junk easily gets stuck beneath, between it and the screen and causes the screen to get dirty. On top of that if you want to get the junk out you have to remove the case htc one otterbox defender which is a pain in and of itself. The distance between the protector and the screen is also rather annoying especially when typing. However, it can be easily removed, so that is what I did. Simply use a flathead screwdriver to pry up the plastic between the case and the protector from the outside. After removing it you'll then have to clean out the adhesive that was holding the screen protector in.

(2)The case seems like it is more difficult to remove then it should be. But this isn't a problem if you plan on leaving it in the case for extended periods of time.

I'm giving it a five stars because even though the screen protector was annoying, I was able to remove it and now I like the case very much. It is very durable.

Also, one could comment on the bulk of the case... however, if you're buying a defender case then you should expect the bulk anyways.
